To start of 2026, Wild Roots is inviting teens to come together and co-create something real together: a full community magazine authored, designed, and published by local homeschool and unschool teens (teens who attend school are also welcome to join).
Across seven weeks, participants will collaborate to imagine, write, design, and bring to life their first publication—featuring their voices, art, cartoons, interviews, reviews, photography, stories, and whatever else they decide belongs in their youth-led magazine. At the end of the session, each teen will receive a printed copy of the final magazine to keep, share, and celebrate!
$150 for all 7 sessions or $25 per session
To register your teen, please fill out this form. Once you have completed the form and click Submit, you will be redirected to our Wild Roots Open Collective account to complete your payment. Payment must be completed before sign up is confirmed. Once payment is received, we will send over confirmation details including the address where we will meet on The Square and what to expect!
If your teen would like to participate and your family does not have the full funds to contribute, please reach out to us directly via email to request aid. We have limited, partial scholarships available.
